Houston tiger found safe after missing for nearly a week

It was first spotted Sunday, roaming around a neighborhood........A 9-month-old tiger that went missing after being spotted on a Houston lawn has been found and appears to be unharmed, the Houston Police Department said Saturday.

The tiger, named India, was first seen roaming around a Houston neighborhood Sunday, wearing a collar and prowling outside a home. India will be transported to the Cleveland Amory Black Beauty Ranch in Murchison, Texas. Black Beauty Ranch is also home to the tiger Loki, who was found in an abandoned in a cage in the Houston area two years ago.

Noelle Almrud, senior director of the ranch, said India will have his own habitat with about half an acre of land, which will include a wooded area and pool.
