FOR THE PAST 2 YEARS THE RUNS ACROSS CANADA HAVE BEEN VIRTUAL DUE TO COVID 19, TODAY MARKS THE 1ST TIME SINCE THEN WE ARE BACK TO THE REGULAR TERRY FOX RUN TO RAISE FUNDS FOR CANCER RESEARCH!......THIS IS WHAT CAN BE EXPECTED IN TORONTO ONTARIO TODAY! Terry Fox Runs return to Toronto on Sept. 18 Terry Fox Runs are returning across Toronto this Sept. 18, with participants gearing up to raise money in honour of the eponymous runner’s dream.

Runs are scheduled in various Toronto neighbourhoods, including North York, Etobicoke and Scarborough.

While running his Marathon of Hope, Fox said, “Nobody is ever going to call me a quitter.”



“This year, we invite Canadians to find inspiration from Terry’s perseverance and grit and continue pursuing his dream,” the press release from the Terry Fox Foundation announcing the news said.

“On Sunday, September 18, we invite everyone to demonstrate their own no-quit attitude and walk, run, bike, hike, skate or wheel for cancer research at their local Terry Fox Run site.”

Registration can be done, and local runs can be found, at run.terryfox.ca by searching “Toronto” in the search field.
