CBC New Brunswick news announcement Harry Forestell has made the difficult decision to step down as host of CBC New Brunswick News.

This is a personal choice for Harry as he manages the progression of Parkinson's disease, which he was diagnosed with in 2015.

New Brunswickers will continue to see and hear from Harry as he takes on a new role with CBC, filing stories and working on special projects.

Rachel Cave will continue in the role as interim host for CBC New Brunswick News.
