FOG BLOG CANADA NEWS LOG: HELLS ANGELS DECEND ON TORONTO, RIDER SENT TO HOSPITAL!

Motorcyclist at Hells Angels procession taken to hospital after collision As thousands of Hells Angels motorcyclists descended upon Toronto to honour a long-lasting member, Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) says one rider was involved in a minor collision during the procession.

OPP tells CityNews there was a collision involving a motorcycle on Hwy. 404 on Thursday morning.

Investigators say the rider was part of the Hells Angels caravan en route to Toronto. One person was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.

The Hells Angels ride is in honour of long-time Toronto Hells Angels member Donny Peterson, who died at 74.

Toronto police have warned of ongoing traffic disruptions as the bikers rolled into the city’s east end in the morning for an unsanctioned afternoon memorial honouring Peterson.

“A Command Post is located on Commissioners Street to provide additional support to the community today,” a TPS spokesperson said.

“Approach our officers if you have questions or concerns or need assistance.”

TPS says Carlaw Avenue is closed to traffic between Eastern Avenue and Lake Shore Boulevard East due to the Hells Angels procession.
