Peel police identify woman killed in Mississauga gas station shooting Victim is Pawanpreet Kaur, 21, from Brampton Peel police have identified a woman who died following a shooting at a gas station in Mississauga Saturday night.

The victim is Pawanpreet Kaur, 21, from Brampton.

Police say they were called to the gas station near Creditview Road and Britannia Road around 10:40 p.m.

When officers arrived, they found a woman suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Life saving measures were attempted but the woman died.

Police say they believe it was a targeted incident. The homicide unit has taken over the investigation.

Officers are looking for a male suspect, seen wearing dark clothing and gloves.
