FOG BLOG CANADA LOG: RUN FOR THE CURE IS TOMORROW:

Run for the Cure this Sunday with the Canadian Cancer Society and CIBC.....The Canadian Cancer Society’s CIBC Run for the Cure is back this Sunday, Oct 3.

Much like the recent Terry Fox Run, the event will be held virtually this year.

The annual event, which raises awareness and funds for breast cancer research in Canada, will kick off with a virtual opening ceremonies starting at 11:00 a.m. EST (9:00 a.m. Mountain). It will be broadcast on Facebook and YouTube, as well as being presented on YES TV for the first time ever.

Janet Dixie is the run director for the Red Deer CIBC Run for the Cure, which will be the 19th year in a row for the local event.
