Fog Blog Canada Log: 5 People Injured In Toronto Shooting:
Five people have been injured after a shooting in Toronto’s west end Friday night, police say.
Emergency crews were called to a plaza near the intersection of Jane Street and Woolner Avenue, north of St. Clair Avenue West, at around 10:20 p.m.
Toronto Police Insp. Norm Proctor told reporters a small grey or silver sedan came to Woolner Avenue just before the shots were fired.
“Two individuals in that vehicle — passenger’s side and driver’s side — were indiscriminately shooting at individuals who were enjoying this evening,” he said, noting the vehicle travelled east along Woolner Avenue.
