The Amber Alert issued Thursday afternoon for two girls in Levis, south of Quebec City, who went missing along with their father following a crash on Highway 20 is still in effect.

Romy Carpentier, 6, and Norah Carpentier, 11, are missing, while their father, 44-year-old Martin Carpentier, is also being sought.....Martin Carpentier's girlfriend, Cathy Gingras, recorded a desperate plea to him on Friday morning, shared by the Surete du Quebec on Twitter."Martin, we're worried. We haven't heard anything from you since the accident. We want to know if you're okay, and the girls, Romy, Norah. We want to know if they're okay... if you're okay. Give us some news, let us know, call your parents, whatever it is. The important thing is that you're all alright," she said. "We just want to know you're alright."
