HURRICANE DORIAN MADE LANDFALL A LITTLE EAST OF YARMOUTH AND HIT NOVA SCOTIA BAD INCLUDING HALIFAX!......THEY ARE SAYING THIS IS RIGHT NEXT TO JUAN IN 2006!.......IN HALIFAX RIGHT NOW.....ROOFS BLOWN OFF, FLOODING.....TREES BLOWN DOWN , UPROOTED, TREE LIMBS ALL OVER THE PLACE.......POWER RIGHT NOW IS OUT FOR OVER 400,000 PEOPLE!......HERE IN NEW BRUNSWICK.......MOST OF THE SOUTH OF THE PROVINCE......DORIAN BLEW IN WITH LOTS OF RAIN , WIND AND LOTS OF DAMAGE AS WELL! AS YOU CAN SEE BY THIS PIC......THE TREE UPROOTED HERE IS LEANING AGAINST OTHERS BEHIND IT........HATS OFF TO SAINT JOHN ENERGY FOR GOING AROUND THE CLOCK STARTING LAST NIGHT RECONNECTING POWER AS IT WAS OUT FOR VARIOUS CUSTOMERS AROUND THE CITY! TODAY SAME THING BUT CUTTING DOWN AND REMOVING UPROOTED TREES WAS ALSO THE ORDER OF THE DAY! SAINT JOHN RECEIVED FROM 75 TO 100 MM OF RAIN AND WINDS UP TO 100 KM/H WERE EXPERIENCED....IT WILL NOT BE KNOWN FOR A WHILE THE MONETARY ESTIMATE OF ALL THE DAMAGE HERE AND THROUGHOUT ALL THREE MARITIME PROVINCES. IT WILL TAKE QUITE A WHILE TO RECOVER FROM DORIAN!
