THIS WEEK WE FOCUS ON WHAT THE FORMER GOVERNMENT WAS THINKING OF INSTITUTING IN FAVOUR OF MOTORISTS. TALK HAD IT THAT THE YEARLY REGISTRATION WOULD GO TO EVERY 2 YEARS AND THE INSPECTION WOULD BE EVERY 2 YEARS TOO. THIS IS ALREADY IN PRACTICE IN OTHER PROVINCES. We do all have to remember that while Blaine Higgs is all entangled with the Nursing Home nurses situation the thought of implementing an every 2 years for registration and inspection which in other provinces does not effect commerce, garages etc and car's performance would be a good one. One problem though, it was the thoughts of the last legislature and is not even on the back burner of this one! Well, I guess it will be gouging of NB motorists as usual for the foreseeable future and will no doubt end up on another Ridiculog in the future!
