THIS IS A GROWING PROBLEM! THE PICTURE SAYS IT BEST. IN THE IMAGE , ITS A U.S. POLICE OFFICER.....YOU SEE THE OFFICER IN THE FIRST IMAGE AND THE CAR IS WAY TOO CLOSE IN REALLY BAD DRIVING CONDITIONS.....THE DRIVER ENDS UP HITTING THE OFFICER AND SENDS HIM FLYING THROUGH THE AIR , GOOD THING HE IS O.K AND HAS SOME BROKEN BONES! TO ME HE IS A HERO. THE DRIVER IS A CAD AND DRIVES OFF. THERE ARE PROVINCES AND STATES THAT ARE FED UP WITH DRIVERS THAT DO NOT GIVE MARGIN OF SPACE WHEN THEY HAVE STOPPED SOMEONE AND ARE OUTSIDE OF THEIR CRUISER. HERE IN THE MARITIMES THEY HAVE LAWS IN PLACE FOR THIS AND STIFF FINES. MORE THOUGH NEEDS TO BE DONE. THE NEW THING IS ....THE TOW TRUCK DRIVERS WANT TO BE INCLUDED IN THE LAW!!! THE PUBLIC IN SOME CASES IS NOT GETTING THE MESSAGE! DRIVERS SHOULD BE GOING INTO NEXT LANE OVER IF POSSIBLE AND IF NOT GIVE AS MUCH SPACE AS POSSIBLE AND SLOW DOWN!! We need to have licence suspensions and even vehicles taken away along with big fines. Our first responders and others that need to be on the scene....their welfare is paramount! Give space, slow down , keep our police safe! Keep this story off the mainway for the next time!
