I THOUGHT THIS WOULD BE A FITTING TIME FOR THIS RIDICULOG WITH THE RECENT STORMS AND ALL. SINCE SCHOOL WENT BACK IN AFTER THE CHRISTMAS BREAK THE WEATHER HAS BEEN A ROLLER COASTER RIDE WITH HIGH WINDS ICE LOTS OF SNOW AND RAIN! This has led to some snow days as they call it. Back in December the education minister for New Brunswick has indicated there are too many snow days and something has to be done! Well education minister time to act is now! We live in the Maritimes and this year the typical up and down weather is exemplified and amplified! Its time to sit down with school board members and work out a solution. You can't have it both ways....on the one hand complaining about the amount of snow days but wanting to keep staff , school bus drivers and of course school students safe which is a priority . You should not be able to complain about snow days since the priority is safety. Instead......time to act , get appropriate members together in a think tank and work out a solution that's best for all parties involved so we can keep this issue off the Ridiculog!
