THESE DAYS OF SOCIAL MEDIA AND PARANOIA ! EARLIER THIS WEEK IT WAS CIRCULATING ON FACEBOOK THAT HERE IN SAINT JOHN , MANY DAYS BEFORE THE BIG STORM ON SUNDAY AND THE WEATHER NETWORK AND OTHER METEOROLOGICAL AUTHORITIES COULD ACCURATELY PREDICT WHO GETS WHAT AND HOW MUCH......PREDICTIONS OF SAINT JOHN BEING BURIED UP TO 40 CM AND AS MUCH AS 75 IN FREDERICTON......WHHHHEWWWW! THIS COULD LEAD TO MASS PANIC IF YOU DON'T GET THE FACTS FIRST. RIGHT NOW THE WEATHER NETWORK IS STILL TRYING TO LOCK DOWN THE TRACK THIS COLORADO LOW WILL TAKE! I don't know how this all got started but makes it onto this Ridiculog! I know it may be exciting to some to spread rumours going to the extreme like this but we all need the facts! We live in the Maritimes and you know........it will snow in the north and there could be rainfall warnings in the south and of course Nova Scotia. It's best to check with your local maritime stations for their weather report and The Weather Network...if not tune into radio and check out their weather updates . Be prepared though, maybe get some supplies before Sunday to make sure! Right now the prediction for Saint John is .......hi of 1C........15-20 cm of snow and maybe 30-40 mm of rain or mix.
