RECENTLY IN THE TELEGRAPH JOURNAL....RIGHT AFTER THE ELECTION....THEY MENTIONED MAYBE AN ALLIANCE BETWEEN THE LIBERALS AND THE GREEN PARTY. BLAINE HIGGS BOASTING HAVING A HIGHER NO. OF SEATS IN THE RECENT ELECTION HAD SOMETHING TO SAY ABOUT BRIAN GALLANT NOT STEPPING ASIDE ! THE SUBJECT FOR THIS WEEK'S RIDICULOG: There are still recounts to be done as some ridings as well as the overall outcome was razor thin! The P.C.s have 22 seats......Liberals have 21.....Greens 3 and Peoples Alliance with 3.....I may have this wrong as some seesaw battles saw very late changes. Right now though for Brian Gallant...he sees it as business as usual and thinks he can form the next government hence the headline in the paper stating we could have a Red-Green government. Blaine Higgs on the other hand has been talking with the other 2 parties' representatives and may be open to ideas but he says with his 22 seats has the right to form the next N.B. government. There is though....constitutional law and political law and ultimately the leftenant governer will make a decision. While N.B. waits ...no one wants to back to the polls and it costs money to campaign for an election so we will have to see who makes what decisions but.......it will have to be in the best interest of New Brunswickers!
