FLASH FLOODING IN SAINT JOHN YESTERDAY LEFT AREAS FLOODED AND CARS STRANDED ESPECIALLY IN THE HAY MARKET SQUARE AREA!......All Saint John roads closed because of flash flooding on Thursday have reopened, said Kevin Comeau, a platoon chief with the Saint John Fire Department."It's looking a lot better than it did this morning," he said.Heavy rain caused flash flooding across the city, closing several streets.Some of the flooded roads reopened quickly, but others, like parts of Retail Drive, Rothesay Avenue, Golden Grove and Westmorland, remained closed until early afternoon.
