THIS WEEK THE OPINION LOG ASKS.......WHY IN MOST CASES IS THERE NO REWARD FROM INSURANCE COMPANIES FOR GOOD DRIVING? I think there should be a shrinking deductible after 5 years of good driving , they have this feature in the States. The insurance co's in NB are getting richer and for people that have good driving records there is no reward , which I think there should be. Its been in the news that the ins. co's have been charging unfair rates to New Brunswickers. Like some companies in the States , I think there should be a shrinking deductible and or a once a year 10% credit applied to your next monthly payment such as credits you apply for at tax time , to be applied to your tax bill etc! What do you think, like other areas and in the States, should we be rewarded for 10, 15 and more years of accident free driving??? What is your opinion??
