WHERE DO YOU START....WELL CHAOS CONTINUES AT THE WHITE HOUSE BUT WITH REPERCUSSIONS THAT COULD ROCK CANADA'S EXPORT OF STEEL! This week Donald Trump announced a tariff he plans to put into place for importing steel and aluminum ! The steel import tariff would be at 25%! He has not said specifically Canada , even though China is the biggest producer of steel, the U.S. imports most of their steel from Canada! Can you spell NAFTA Mr. President?? We are currently in negotiations with the U.S and Mexico to update and upgrade the agreement over 20 years old now! What would happen is ....if Trump put this in place and his GOP counterparts are begging him to back down on this. Canada, say ...could impose their own tariffs on the U.S. for imports and that would mean trouble for exporters down there and higher prices for things here, would put people out of work etc. Just the tariff on steel , never mind anything else would make things bad for the steel industries here in Canada! This could spark a trade war , something both countries can't afford!! Think Mr. President!! You have people that work for you that crunch numbers and would advise how bad things would be to do this and there's NAFTA....ya know!!!.......a trade agreement! Think first Trump before you jump and be on the next train headed for the Ridiculog!
