ONCE IT WAS THE LIQUOR STORE THEN IT WAS DEMOLISHED, STOOD AS AN EMPTY SPOT FOR A PERIOD OF TIME ....NOW THE DIGGERS ARE BACK AT IT IN PREPARATION FOR THE PLANNED CANNABIS STORE HERE IN TOWN. THEY CHOSE THERE....LIKELY BECAUSE THE LAND WAS OWNED BY THE GOVERNMENT AND MADE THE DECISION EASY , PLUS THERE IS A LOT OF POPULATION IN THAT AREA AND THE LANSDOWNE PLAZA DRAWING PEOPLE TO THE AREA! Tonight's Opinion Log asks.....what do you think after pot is legalized......do you think it will degrade society ? Do you think we should line the pockets of the Federal government? Do you think in this way it will keep marijuana out of the hands of children? There is a lot to think about, especially with the explosion of harder drugs hitting the fabric of society! Fentanyl is an epidemic and more and more are getting hooked and overdosing! Studies state that pot is a stepping stone drug to the harder ones....what is your opinion??
