THIS IS PART 2 OF GOUGING SENIORS! THIS WEEK IT FOCUSES ON McDONALD'S RESTAURANTS INCREASING THE COST OF A SENIORS' COFFEE BY 30 CENTS FROM .....$1.15 TO A WHOPPING $ 1.45, THAT IS A 30 PERCENT INCREASE!.....Where do the gouging of poor seniors end....from high gas prices to high electrical rates and now a coffee creeping closer to 2 dollars! Sometimes this is all a senior has to look forward to. In the new year staff told customers to look forward to a 10 cent increase, I think this came from head office. This turned into a further 20 cent increase. It would have been with tax....$ 1. 25! It was mentioned that they haven't increased a seniors' coffee in almost 10 years , so the 10 cent increase would have been enough! It''s time these companies gave more consideration to seniors, a lot of them spend a lot of time at McDonald's as it may be their only outing for the day! Don't be on the next Ridiculog!!
