DOES THE GOVERNMENT OF NEW BRUNSWICK LISTEN TO THE INPUT OF THE PEOPLE WHO ELECTED THEM......I SAY NO!!!!!!!!!!! The Hammond no 2 covered bridge is currently being dismantled because of the discovery of wood rot! Bill Tingley knows this, and a while back proposed a permanent fix that is still on the table, he says he can fix it cheaper and quicker than the government proposal! There have been many outcries from people in the area and Blaine Higgs of the opposition about saving the historic covered bridge but to no avail! The government that was elected by us will not give anyone a chance and will go ahead with the dismantling leading to the replacement of it with a modular bridge. Blaine Higgs said...our heritage is disappearing and something should be done, for our sake and for tourism. Remember New Brunswick.....in one year or so.....another election will decide who gets in to steer NB! The Rediculog says....vote wisely and remember how much your voice meant to Brian Gallant and co.!!
