Fog Blog New Brunswick Log:
With New Brunswick Day coming soon, this week we are looking at St. Andrews by the Sea! This is a beautiful little resort and tourist town nestled by the sea , off hwy 1 just before St. Stephen and the border. 95 per cent of all homes and businesses there are under heritage designation. There are murals on some of the buildings on the main st. downtown like in Sussex. It pays to make a trip there. The summer is hopping with things to do. Special boats take you whale watching, specialty shops on the main drag, such as ....China Chest, The Whale Store, Scrooge and Marley and more. There are great restaurants and bars, looking like days gone by! Then there are the many beautiful houses in town....finally, there is the Algonquin Resort. This place has been frequented by presidents and prime ministers and the like. There is a great restaurant there. The Algonquin pictured below was refurbished recently, a real sight to behold. Take time to see.....St. Andrews New Brunswick!
