SOME DRIVERS IN SAINT JOHN ARE VERY COURTEOUS! COMING OUT OF OUR STREET ON THE WEST SIDE TO ENTER BLEURY CAN BE TRICKY! Some one always stops and lets us in. On the other hand there are others that like to play the old game of Chicken! I see this in particular at Simms corner. For all that live here in Saint John , what can I say, tricky city!! Main Street going towards the bridge enters into it...on the left is Fairville blvd. one way entering into the intersection. From here you have right of way to go straight up to Lancaster Av. or right of way to turn left towards the bridge. Coming from bridge, you can round the corner and keep going or turn lane and stop part way up in order to join Lancaster Av. Coming down from there and from Fairville blvd entering the intersection is the trick! My understanding is when clear from either up from Lancaster Av or Fairville blvd. first one to intersection has the right to cross to bridge or go through to Main St. I have seen coming from the mall waiting for a chance to go and then they proceed and someone comes down and does not stop and almost collides with the other car. I have seen a car coming down from top and arriving first , so he goes through the intersection to Main and car in front of me goes and almost collides with that car just missing it. I have seen it all! Time to stop being ridiculous and take time to play it safe! Most do but I have seen a lot of newer cars with many dents!! Take time and play it safe!
