THIS WEEK....' STATE FARM'S SLIGHT OF HAND' .....Recently , State Farm and actually if you are a client, that title is just a shell at this point.....has been running ads on the local Atlantic tv stations that have been running in the American market. What is up with this.....is State Farm Really there? This past year our State Farm car insurance certificate has changed the name to Certas insurance. About 3 years ago Desjardins insurance out of Quebec bought , I think all of the Canadian operations of State Farm. For our more English market we are under Certas...a subsidiary to Desjardins. After this happened , The State Farm signage at Rob Scott ins. on the West Side was updated. Now we have the name change on the insurance certificate and a new tighter and stricter payment plan for clients and new higher prices! I , myself like State Farm better!! So, to conclude is Certas deceiving potential customers by allowing State Farm ads in the market to woo customers over before the big name change soon?? State Farm would be more recognizable in the Maritimes than Certas! Ridiculog asks you....is State Farm really there?
