THIS IS THE MOST RIDICULOUS THING I'VE EVER HEARD OF.... 'FLY THE FRIENDLY SKYS'? SO THIS FELL RIGHT INTO THE RIDICULOG LAP!! I think we've all heard by now the story of Dr. David Dao, dragged off United flight that was overbooked in Chicago. The air police dragged him off saying he was belligerent and as of Monday United in a letter stood behind the action! It seems a little different now with refunds offered by United to all who were on the flight! A lady with here young one behind the Dr. was shocked at the action taken. Dr. Dao, as a result of the violent action taken by the authorities sustained a concussion, 2 missing teeth and a broken nose! I think he is going to sue , and has a lawyer mulling over his options! This is pure and simple a travesty and was not like they knew that he was a danger or a terrorist! Who is responsible for overbooking, certainly not Dr. Dao! He paid for his ticket like all others on the flight! United is feeling remorse now. Is it too late?? There, no doubt will be changes to rules regarding actions pertaining to this situation in the future, in the meantime...United stands smack dab on the Ridiculog.
